Hey there, we are Katie and Kati! We are faith based, holistic birth doulas serving the beautiful women of the Triad and surrounding areas. We have a holistic approach, acknowledging you are on your own unique journey while also providing the balance of evidence based research and resources when needed. We are here to be your unwavering support, listening ear and safe space throughout your entire pregnancy journey. We're so glad you're here and can't wait to walk this journey together.

"A Father’s perspective on having a doula… also as someone that was extremely hesitant and didn’t want one.
I was constantly being told from everyone “why have a doula when you can do it yourself”.
Well, I was the “doula” for our first son, and it took away from me truly being present for my wife and newborn. Even though I was skeptical on having a doula come in on this very intimate experience with my wife, I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome.
The birth experience Katie allowed me to have was truly a blessing. She was so tentative on giving my wife and I space yet at the same time didn’t miss a beat when it came to my wife’s needs. She was able to communicate with the midwife and nurses on the birthing plan and knew the answers to everything. She came prepared and it showed. Instead of me trying to remember all of my wife’s requests and needs during those crucial minutes, Katie was right there with a friendly reminder on what needed to be done.
Katie’s presence in the room was the opposite from what I expected. Her calm and wholesome demeanor was exactly what we needed. She cared for my wife as if it was her own son and for that I and truly thankful. If there is a baby number three, we would most definitely use her again. I highly encourage other expecting parents to give her an opportunity to help bring new life into this world."

When I first heard about having a Doula, I was very skeptical because I thought it would take away from the experience between my wife and I as first time parents. This could not be further from the truth. Katie was very knowledgeable and was able to communicate to my wife and I so that we understood everything that was happening. She was always available to speak with my wife and always made sure that she was comfortable throughout the entire process. She always came prepared with material and was able to help us form a birth plan that worked for us and made sure that we understood all of the decisions that we made. For anyone that is hesitant to use a Doula, hire Katie. She will make sure that the experience is exactly what you want it to be, you will not be disappointed.

I had the most beautiful unmediated birthing experience for my first child and it couldn’t have happened the way it did without our amazing doula Katie. She was an amazing support throughout my pregnancy and postpartum. Very encouraging and full of knowledge. She prepared me and my husband for labor and help us create the perfect birth plan for us with practical tools and a faith based mindset. My husband and I were able to peacefully labor at home for most of the time as she guided us through different positions and exercises to prep baby and help labor go smoothly and it sure did. Katie knew the perfect time to head out and followed us all the way to Natural Beginnings birth center where we peacefully and quickly delivered our beautiful daughter. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better birth experience and I have Katie to thank for that. Initially, my husband did not see a need for a Doula, but quickly realized how important It was.
